Where’s the “Phoenix has Honeywell” troll?
February 28, 2008 by Frank · 4 Comments
A few months back I had brought up the fact that a full 40% of Phoenix-area jobs are tied to real estate and that real estate is (was) the major industry in the Valley. Prior to the fake real estate bubble, it was call center and manufacturing jobs, but they’ve all left the country, leaving pretty much nothing.
In response, some troll kept posting that there are real jobs in the Valley and kept naming Honeywell as the largest private employer. Someone then posted anonymously, claiming to be a Honeywell exec, stating that the Phoenix facilities are slated to close and all jobs would be sent to Mexico and Asia.
Well, it’s for real, folks. The first announcement came today that the first phase of layoffs is underway and those jobs will be going to Indonesia and Malaysia.
Get ready for a lot more. And get ready for the West’s next ghost town. 40% job loss to the fake real estate economy, all the call center and factory jobs have gone to Mexico, China, and Asia, and now the few remaining large employers are following suit.

Hey Scottsdale, you don’t matter
February 27, 2008 by Frank · Leave a Comment
Never before have I seen a city or town with such a huge, bizarre inferiority complex. Scottsdale’s sole purpose apparently is to “put itself on the map” and other such nonsense.
Scottsdale and its residents appear to be in an endless chase of “Look at me! Notice me! Pay attention to me!”
Why?
Scottsdale used to be a nice place to live. There was a lot going for it. Why couldn’t you people be content with that and simply enjoy it?
Look, Scottsdale doesn’t matter. It never will. It’s an insignificant suburb of Phoenix, a city that, despite being 8x larger than Scottsdale, doesn’t matter much either. I mean, come on, even the infamous DirtyScottsdale.com is defunct due to lack of traffic. It now redirects to a site called “The Dirty” containing random pictures of drunk idiots from all over the world. This site only prospers due to the political banter that goes on here. Scottsdale by itself is not a sufficient topic to hold interest.
Scottsdale, you lost, and you’re a sore loser. Nobody cares about you, and you don’t matter. Get over it and start doing something productive instead of yelling “LOOK AT ME!” day after day after day. We’re all tired of hearing it.
The global warming crackpots are poisoning us
Finally, months after I started talking about it, the mainstream media is exposing the hazards and toxicity of CFLs – Compact Fluorescent Bulbs – those silly screw-in fluorescent bulbs being shoved down our throats by the Global Warming Cult. You know, the ones that are advertised to last forever, but in reality they get maybe double the life of a good old-fashioned incandescent bulb.
After you read the article, think about this – disposal of just one years’ worth of these bulbs, if adopted on a large scale, would produce enough mercury waste to contaminate every river, lake, and stream in America to dangerously toxic levels.
All because of a crackpot theory on global warming that, if you read the *real* science, doesn’t hold up. Not even close. Of course, in reality, it’s all a big scam. After Al Gore preaches about global warming to you, he’s laughing all the way to the bank thanks to all the suckers who believe his nonsense and buy his books and CDs. Because you gave him your hard-earned money, he’s able to burn over 10,000 gallons of fuel a week in his large private jet while urging you to drive a dangerous piece of crap like a Prius or Smart Car.
The sheeple have gotten really stupid, it seems.
New look…

I changed the header on the site because if I get one more email from an ignorant idiot who says, “You’re just jealous of Scottsdale because you can’t afford to live there,” I’m going to go insane.

Hope for Scottsdale: Dick Harkins to run for council, disgusted by “circus”
February 22, 2008 by Frank · 23 Comments
Developer Dick Arkins is running for Scottsdale city council. He says he’s disgusted by what he calls the “circus” of Scottsdale leadership, and, “It’s all about them,” he said of the current leadership. “It’s not about Scottsdale or the people they represent. I’m tired of watching the circus.”
Aren’t we all?
We’ll see if he’s given a real chance or if he’s painted as an “evil” businessperson and developer in seriously anti-business and anti-capitalist Scottsdale. This will tell us if the people of Scottsdale even care about the future of their town, or if they deserve the totalitarian leadership they now have.
Why Obama has screwed himself
February 22, 2008 by Frank · 8 Comments
Yes, he’s going to get the Democratic nomination. No, he’s not going to be the next President.
It became clear to me when I saw this headline yesterday in the mainstream media: “Media’s Love Affair with Obama Ending.” To sum it up in a few words, the media is realizing they cannot keep backing a candidate whose entire campaign is engineered as a messianic cult, complete with staged faintings.
The bottom line is that Obama has gone too far. Like a criminal who gets away with a few petty crimes and feels invincible and gets too bold, Obama has gone too far with a campaign that is nothing more than a cult attempting to portray a Jesus-like figure, that provides zero substance other than repeating the words “change” and “hope” – in cult-like chants, no less – and that has gone way too far by having paid actors pretending to faint in the crowds.
(Let’s not get into whether they’re staged – they’ve happened way too many times, and every time, Obama remains suspiciously calm as though he were expecting the incident and had rehearsed it beforehand.)
This article entitled “Barack Obama is a Fake” goes a bit deeper – some of my favorite excerpts:
Obama is as fake as Pamela Anderson’s assets — the only difference between them is that Anderson’s boobs have some weight. He’s slicker than a Slip ‘N Slide. He’s more like a pedophilia-free Michael Jackson than a JFK — he’s a sort-of-black, sort-of-white guy made of plastic who lip-synchs empty lyrics to the screaming adoration of juveniles.
Obama, like JFK, is a media creation. He’s sponsored no significant legislation during his time in the Senate. He’s never run a tough election race. He’s flipped his position on Iraq and flipped back. He’s never made an important statement in any of his speeches, unless slogans cribbed from “Politics for Dummies” count.
JFK never shied away from debating Nixon — Obama refuses to take on Hillary, knowing he’ll be cut to pieces.
Help stop Gov. Hitler’s photo radar plan
February 21, 2008 by Frank · Leave a Comment
A state Senate panel approved three measures this week, including two for the November ballot, that could limit or ban Governor Janet Napolitano’s statewide ticket camera program:
Senate Bill 1470
Would ban ticket cameras on state roads.
Senate Concurrent Resolution 1032
Would let voters decide whether to ban the ticket cameras or not.
Senate Concurrent Resolution 1033
Would require a traffic study on any road where ticket cameras would be installed.
We urge you to contact your legislators to express your opinion on these measures. You can find their contact information here.

Fatal crash caused by photo radar?
February 21, 2008 by Frank · 8 Comments
Remember when photo radar was first proposed, and DPS publicly came out against it with a report demonstrating that it would increase crashes and deaths thanks to people slamming on their brakes?
It’s happened, folks. A man on a motorcycle was killed thanks to the vehicles ahead of him slamming on their brakes at the sight of a photo radar van.
Granted, the man was not wearing a helmet – stupid on his part – but it does not change what happened. What are the odds that the corrupt Scottsdale PD will conclude that the photo radar van was not responsible?
Why McCain will win this election
February 21, 2008 by Frank · 6 Comments
Everyone here knows that John McCain isn’t my first choice for President – not by a long shot – but given the alternatives, I sure hope he wins. Yes, he might be a one-term failure and a democrat may win in 2012, but a McCain victory this year will send a message to the democrat party that if they want the White House, they’ll never get it by nominating an extreme socialist left-wing wacko like Hillary or a slick lying charlatan like Barack Hussein Obama. At least then we’ll get a halfway moderate democrat in 2012 if it comes to that. People forget that the democrat victories in Congress in 2006 were primarily moderate democrats … not nutjobs like Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi.
In any case, I wanted to post this fantastic article from the Aspen Times. It effectively explains why McCain is going to win, because both democrat candidates are ignoring and alienating the majority of Americans -

This is my favorite excerpt from it:
There is one group no one has recognized, and it is the group that will decide the election: the Angry White Man. The Angry White Man comes from all economic backgrounds, from dirt-poor to filthy rich. He represents all geographic areas in America, from urban sophisticate to rural redneck, deep South to mountain West, left Coast to Eastern Seaboard.
His common traits are that he isn’t looking for anything from anyone — just the promise to be able to make his own way on a level playing field. In many cases, he is an independent businessman and employs several people. He pays more than his share of taxes and works hard.
The victimhood syndrome buzzwords — “disenfranchised,” “marginalized” and “voiceless” — don’t resonate with him. “Press ‘one’ for English” is a curse-word to him. He’s used to picking up the tab, whether it’s the company Christmas party, three sets of braces, three college educations or a beautiful wedding.
Here’s to us “Angry White Men.”
