A Reminder to Scottsdale
January 26, 2008 by Frank
Thanks to HousingPanic for this picture – I posted it a while back and it needs to be posted again as a reminder to all the quick-buck, lazy, shysters who characterize Scottsdale more than any other type of person.
I can’t think of ANYTHING that better characterizes Scottsdale than the left size of this picture. Or anything more totally opposite Scottsdale than the right side.

There is sad difference between the time period shone in the picture on the left and now. Back then to be a crook, conman, scumbag, and someone looking for an easy way out it brought shame to you and your family. In todays Hip Hop culture/reality tv generation being a grade “A” D’bag is seen as being a pimp, hustler, and player. Tv glorifies aholes and shows then as something we should all try to aspire to. Working hard or doing anything positive gets little attention and is seen to be something only suckers strive for. Why work hard when you can con, cheat, scheme, or sue someone is the message being sent out today. Shame nolonger exists amongst the unwashed masses!!!
This is true – I’d never been exposed to any of that evil hip-hop rap garbage until recently when I started working out at a gym where that MTV crap is on one of the TVs a lot, and I cannot believe how it glorifies wealth without work, the idea of getting something for nothing, etc.
It definitely explains much of the current generation and especially places like Scottsdale, Vegas, etc.
HEY! The lottery it a legitimate way to get rich! I invest a lot of money in that! How can they say its a bubble???
That is funny, I knew a guy who told me he was a pro gambler. He would hit up all the casinos and had his blackjack game down. It turns out he was broke and stealing cars from ladies who ran into the post office while the engine was running. I bet he is a realtor now.
