The Cameras Are Coming Down
February 23, 2009 by Frank
Day after day, while living in Scottsdale, I got furious at how the lazy, complacent people just sat back and took the abuse of photo radar, which is an invalid system that violates both the Sixth Amendment and, in most cases, the Arizona Rules of Civil Procedure.
After leaving Arizona and moving to a state where both a superior court judge and the state legislature banned photo radar to different degrees, I still could not understand why not only Scottsdale residents tolerated the Commie Cameras, but the entire state as well as they spread like roaches.
Well, someone has finally begun to do something about it. And the cameras are coming down.
CameraFRAUD.com has been organized for the purpose of getting the cameras banned, and so far it looks like they’re going to succeed. I strongly suggest that you visit their site, add their RSS feed to your browser, and GET INVOLVED!
Congrats to CameraFRAUD.com for bringing the truth of the tyrannical camera scam to light. You guys make me wish I were still there to help!

Actually, it’s not a violation of the 6th Amendment. That argument has been tried in court many times (and in other jurisdictions) which has failed.
As for the violation of Civil Procedure; they still have to presonally serve you. If you can avoid the personal service for 180 days; you get out of the ticket. Pretty easy…just don’t open your door.
The County Attorney is refusing to prosecute photo radar criminal speeding cases based on the 6th Amendment argument…….
Agreed though, just don’t answer your door for strangers! If they stick it on your door and claim that it was “served,” file a formal complaint and the process server will have his license revoked.
Scottsdale was actually allowing for “alternate service” in some cases. Check this out: http://www.azfamily.com/news/3oys/stories/phoenix-3oys-news-020509-photo-radar-tickets.21a5062d.html
